Kevin Carlos is heading to Cagliari on loan from OGC Nice. The French club announced the deal on Monday, with the Spanish striker moving to Italy on a one-year loan featuring a purchase option.

The former FC Basel player arrived in southern France last summer but failed to make an impact. In 23 Ligue 1 appearances, he didn't score, though he did net twice in the Europa League. At 25 years old with a contract through 2030, he'll look to find more minutes in Serie A after a forgettable campaign with Nice's attacking options.
