Kevin Carlos leaves Nice for Cagliari on loan

After weeks of negotiations, Kevin Carlos is set to leave Nice. The 25-year-old Spanish striker will join Cagliari on a free loan with a purchase option of €3.5 million, as reported by L'Équipe.

The deal includes a 10% resale clause should Cagliari sell the player in the future. Carlos, signed by Nice last year from Basel for €6 million, will undergo his medical examination on Saturday to complete the move.

The Spanish forward had been sidelined from training sessions and friendly matches after repeatedly rejecting several exit opportunities, including a transfer to Samsunspor that offered €3 million for a permanent deal. Nice had been looking to move him on for some time.
