Jay-Z's Roc Nation Sports muscling in on European transfer market

Roc Nation Sports, with Vinícius Júnior and Yan Diomande among its clients, cements itself as a heavyweight in elite player representation.

Roc Nation Sports, the agency backed by the US mogul, continues to flex its muscles in European football. According to The Guardian, the firm now represents over 100 players, including Vinícius Júnior, who this week sealed a new contract with Real Madrid for approximately €25 million per year after a two-year negotiation.

The Brazilian winger was tracked by Arsenal, which considered a major move, but Real Madrid sweetened their offer to keep him. The deal scuppers the Spanish club's plans around Rodri from Manchester City, who ended up joining Barcelona instead.

The same day brought another RNSI coup: Yan Diomande completed his £115 million transfer from RB Leipzig, becoming the priciest African player ever. The 19-year-old midfielder has faced two legal challenges surrounding the handling of his deal, yet the agency closed the move without FIFA intervention.
