RFEF extends deadlines in Appeals Committee for disciplinary appeals

The federation modifies submission and resolution times for appeals before the Appeals Committee ahead of the new season.

With the season just around the corner, the RFEF has introduced significant changes to disciplinary procedures, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The most relevant modification affects the Appeals Committee, the second federal instance. The deadline for filing appeals has been extended from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday before the matchday, while the federation will have until 12:00 PM on Friday to rule—one hour later than before.

For appeals filed between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Thursday (previously up to 8:00 PM), the Committee no longer has a fixed time to announce its decision: it only must do so before the next match is played. From 7:00 PM onwards, they will not resolve for the immediate matchday. For midweek fixtures, deadlines adjust to each match's schedule and timing.
