Roma's offer for Molina falls short

Atlético rejects Roma's €10m bid for Argentine fullback, demanding double the price.

AS Roma has tabled an offer for Nahuel Molina, but Atlético Madrid considers it well below their expectations. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Italian club's proposal stands at around €10 million, whereas the Spanish side values the Argentine defender at roughly €20 million.

Molina, 28, and a World Cup winner in 2022, is under contract with Atlético until 2028. Although the Madrid club has opened the door to a sale for the right price, there's no urgency to sell. The player himself hasn't ruled out a move, but he demands an offer befitting his status as an Argentina international and key defensive piece under Simeone.

From Italy, Juventus and Inter have also expressed interest. In England, Everton under David Moyes is monitoring the situation too. Roma's bid could trigger other clubs to make their move, but Atlético won't be giving away their asset.
