Diomande speaks as a Real Madrid player for the first time

Yan Diomande has broken his silence as a new Real Madrid player. The Ivorian winger, who becomes the club's most expensive transfer in history following a deal worth €125 million plus add-ons (potentially reaching €140 million), has given his first statements through an official interview with the club's media.

In his opening remarks, the player described himself as "agile and fast" as a footballer. On Real Madrid, he was effusive, calling it "the best team in the world". When asked about his goal tally this season, Diomande was cautious: "I don't know, but I'll do everything to score a lot. Not just goals but to participate a lot and help the team".

The Ivorian also shared personal details, revealing that his favourite dish is bolognese pasta and that if his teammates visited his country, he would take them to Sicogi, his hometown, to try Attiéké. Diomande has already integrated into training sessions under José Mourinho.
