Liverpool makes opening move for Barcola with €115m bid

The Reds submit official offer for French winger, but PSG demands €150m and is set to reject the proposal.

As we reported earlier, Liverpool has made its opening play in pursuit of Bradley Barcola. According to L'Équipe, the Reds have tabled an offer of €115 million to PSG for the 23-year-old French winger, though the Parisian club intends to turn it down.

The gap is substantial: Paris is demanding €150 million upfront, plus add-ons. Barcola, who boasts 28 caps for France and scored 6 goals for les bleus, already gave the green light to Anfield's project back in May, according to the French outlet. His PSG contract runs until 2028.

The French club's stance is firm but leaves room for dialogue. Luis Enrique, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and Luis Campos have made clear that no player will be forced to stay against their wishes, keeping the door open for negotiations. For now, it all hinges on Liverpool significantly improving their initial offer.
