Liverpool are assessing a potential move for PSG's teenage Senegal international Ibrahim Mbaye, who plays primarily on the right wing.
Liverpool have explored the conditions of a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, according to Sky Sports. The 18-year-old Senegal international, who plays predominantly on the right flank, is believed to be interested in joining the Reds at Anfield.
Mbaye is among several targets Liverpool are eyeing to strengthen their attacking width this transfer window, which is their main priority. The club also hold a strong interest in Mbaye's PSG teammate Bradley Barcola, but neither player has received a formal offer as yet. The interest in the teenage winger remains completely separate from their pursuit of Barcola.
Liverpool are planning to add five wingers by the end of the window, with at least one being a younger prospect to develop. New boss Andoni Iraola views wide players as integral to his tactical philosophy, making this area a key focus of his first transfer window at Merseyside.
