Málaga and Pablo Martínez reach agreement

The operation is moving forward smoothly. Málaga CF and Pablo Martínez have reached an agreement for the midfielder to join the blanquiazules, according to Mateo Moretto. The player, who terminated his contract with Levante weeks ago, will arrive as a free agent to strengthen Juanfran Funes' midfield.

Martínez was Levante's captain last season and his signing addresses a clear need in the centre of the pitch. His role will be to accompany Izan Merino in a position where Dani Lorenzo, Rafa Rodríguez, Ramón and Dotor also operate. The club takes advantage of his free agent status to bring him in without any transfer fee.
