Sevilla wants to sell the left-back before September 1; two Segunda División clubs are interested in acquiring him.
Sevilla continues reshaping its squad ahead of the September 1 market deadline. Adrià Pedrosa, the Catalan left-back, is one of the players the Sevillian board needs to move on. According to Mundo Deportivo, there's already movement: Mallorca and Almería are the main contenders to secure him.
Pedrosa's loan at Elche ended on June 30, alongside Rafa Mir, and several clubs are in the hunt. Rayo Vallecano was the first to probe Sevilla's conditions, but they're close to bringing back Álex Moreno for the left flank. In the second tier, the interest is more concrete.
Mallorca and Almería lead the race
Mallorca is pushing hardest. The Balearic club needs reinforcement at left-back following Mojica's departure to Getafe, and views Pedrosa as the ideal option to maintain its status as the promotion favourite. Sevilla is asking for €2 million for the player — the fee Monchi set for the operation — though they'd also accept a loan if the salary is covered.
Almería, meanwhile, also has Pedrosa on their radar. Manager Xavier García Pimienta knows him well from their time together at Sevilla, where he was one of his trusted men, and has pushed his name forward to strengthen their Segunda División defence.
