Mastantuono arrives at Fiorentina ready to fight for targets

Franco Mastantuono is officially a Fiorentina player. The Argentine winger arrives on loan for one season from Real Madrid with the goal of reviving his career after a debut campaign at the Santiago Bernabéu hampered by adaptation issues.

In his first interview with the viola media, Mastantuono made no secret of his excitement. "It's a very special day for me, I really wanted to get to this club and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's a team with great history," declared the attacker, who also thanked the fans for their welcome. "They've got a player who's here to fight and pursue the club's objectives," he stressed.

The Argentine winger has already spoken with the manager and expressed optimism about his qualities. "My main strengths are dribbling and pushing forward, I'm a player who reaches the opposition box. I'd like to improve my defensive work, which I know is heavily emphasized in Italy," he explained. Mastantuono also highlighted the welcoming atmosphere he's found. "The people are very helpful and all my teammates have been very nice to me."
