Mastantuono heads to Fiorentina on loan

According to 'As', Real Madrid and Fiorentina have reached an agreement for Franco Mastantuono to join the Italian side on loan. The 18-year-old Argentine winger will move to Italy for one season with a special clause: if Fiorentina qualify for European competition, the loan will automatically extend for an additional year.

The three million euros annual salary will be shared equally between both clubs. Mastantuono arrived at Real Madrid just a season ago from River Plate for around 60 million euros, but after a campaign with more struggles than highlights, the Spanish club believes he needs regular playing time to continue his development. Italy was one of his preferred destinations.
