Mbappé and co. make their debut under Mourinho against Schalke

Real Madrid have announced their squad for the friendly against Schalke 04 in Gelsenkirchen this Sunday (17:00), with five major debuts according to MARCA: Mbappé, Diomande, Cucurella, Bellingham and Courtois are named for the first time under Mourinho's watch this season.

The standout cases are French forward Mbappé and Spaniards Cucurella and Bellingham, who could earn their first minutes in a Real Madrid shirt. Young goalkeeper Illia, just 19 years old and over two metres tall, also gets his chance on the list.

Late withdrawals

Tchouaméni and Endrick do not travel due to minor problems, leaving the team in the final stretch of pre-season preparation. Courtois, Lunin, Ilda, Huijsen, Trent, Konaté, Cucurella, Carreras, Rüdiger, Dumfries, Mario Rivas, Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Arda Güler, Bernardo Silva, Cestero, Alexis Ciria, Vinicius, Mbappé, Espí, Brahim and Diomande make up the squad.

This match will be the final pre-season test before the league debut next weekend away to Espanyol (Saturday 22 August at 21:30).
