Over a dozen clubs tracking Deportivo's Arnau Comas

Arnau Comas has become one of the most sought-after names on the transfer market. According to Sport, more than half of Segunda División clubs alongside Portuguese and French sides have enquired about the defender's availability from Deportivo, where he remains under contract until 2028.

The centre-back's situation has grown complicated following Ede Bright's arrival and Deportivo's pursuit of an experienced left-sided centre-back. With Lucas Noubi entrenched and Miguel Loureiro also in the squad, Comas finished the season as third choice in manager Antonio Hidalgo's preferences. So far, the player has received no official communication that he must seek a move, remaining in limbo despite identifying strongly with the project.

The Catalan defender, a La Masia academy product, was the defensive cornerstone of the project that secured promotion to Spain's top flight last year. Should a departure materialise, the structure of any deal could differ from other club operations, though more than three weeks of the transfer window remain to clarify his position.
