Minsu and Jastin García promoted to Girona's first team

Girona have announced that attackers Minsu Kim (20) and Jastin García (22) have been promoted to first-team status. Both wingers now belong fully to the squad managed by Quique Álvarez, whom they already know from their time in the club's academy.

The pair made their first-team debut in 2024 under Míchel Sánchez's direction. Last season, on loan at Andorra, they delivered solid numbers in LaLiga Hypermotion: Minsu recorded six goals and four assists across 40 appearances and over 2,400 minutes, while Jastin contributed three goals and two assists in 28 appearances.

They are now expected to play a key role in Álvarez's project. The club is working to secure their futures: both hold contracts through 30 June 2027, according to Mundo Deportivo.
