Getafe have opened talks with Mallorca to sign Colombian left-back Johan Mojica for around half a million euros.
Johan Mojica looks set to leave Mallorca this summer following the club's relegation to the Spanish second tier. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Balearic side have given the go-ahead for the Colombian international to depart, with Getafe already in negotiations.
According to Mallorcan sources, the Madrid club are offering around €500,000 for the 33-year-old defender, who has one year remaining on his contract in Palma. Getafe are also considering including a player in the deal to seal the move.
Mojica, who recently featured in the World Cup with Colombia, has spent two seasons at Mallorca following his arrival from Osasuna. If the transfer goes through, it would mark his fourteenth consecutive year in Spanish football, having previously played for Rayo, Girona, Villarreal and a brief spell at Atalanta in Italy.
