Monaco beats Getafe in friendly with Brunner's penalty goal

AS Monaco secured their second pre-season victory against Getafe at the Stade Louis-II, triumphing 1-0 according to *L'Équipe*. German forward Paris Brunner found the back of the net from the penalty spot after the Spanish side conceded a handball inside the box (65').

Brunner, who had only recently entered the pitch, made the most of his opportunity to give the Monégasques the lead. Despite being reduced to ten men following Christian Mawissa's late dismissal (78'), Filipe Luis's team maintained control throughout.

The win follows a 2-2 draw with Cercle Bruges and a 0-2 defeat to Sporting. Monaco continues their preparation with a training camp in England next week and will wrap up their friendlies with a clash against Liverpool on Sunday.
