The Principality club prepares a second offer for Frosinone's Algerian winger after the initial €7m proposal was rejected.
Monaco has made Farès Ghedjemis their top target for the right-wing position, according to L'Équipe. The Ligue 1 side already sent an initial offer of €7 million plus €2m in add-ons, which Frosinone turned down, but they are preparing a second proposal in the coming hours.
Ghedjemis, 23, has just completed a standout season in Serie B with the Italian club, where he was named the division's best player thanks to his 15 goals and 3 assists. Those numbers earned him a call-up to the Algeria squad for the World Cup.
Frosinone recently rejected offers of €10 million from both Celtic and Rangers, but an agreement between the two clubs could be struck around that figure. The left-footed winger is open to the prospect of moving to Ligue 1 and joining Monaco.
