RCD Mallorca and midfielder Manu Morlanes have sealed the 27-year-old's contract extension until 2031, according to Mundo Deportivo. The renewal secures the continuity of a crucial player in manager Luis García's plans as the club pursues promotion to La Liga.
Morlanes arrived on loan from Villarreal in January 2023, and Mallorca triggered the purchase option at season's end. The Spanish midfielder has made 110 appearances for the islanders and gained significant importance over time, even serving as fifth captain last season under Jagoba Arrasate.
Mallorca announced the renewal just before their friendly against German side Elversberg at Son Moix, drawing a roaring ovation from fans in attendance.
