Moscardo officially registered with LaLiga

Gabriel Moscardo's registration with LaLiga EA Sports 2026/27 was finally completed on Friday, confirming that the 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder will be eligible for Espanyol in gameweek 1, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The administrative formality has been resolved in time for Manolo González to have the player available on Saturday the 16th, when the Catalan side host Levante at the RCDE Stadium from 19:00. Moscardo, on loan from PSG, has been at the club for a month and has already featured in all five pre-season friendlies, making his debut on July 18th.

The coach will now decide whether to deploy the young talent in his natural position as a pivot or use him as a centre-back, another role in which he is capable of performing.
