Mount set to miss Man Utd's pre-season clash against Leeds

Mason Mount is expected to miss Manchester United's pre-season game against Leeds at Croke Park on Wednesday, according to BBC Sport. The English midfielder suffered a foot injury in the opening minutes of Saturday's draw with PSG in Gothenburg.

While boss Michael Carrick stated he took Mount off in the first half as a precaution and the 27-year-old was walking freely when leaving the pitch, he has not trained since and is unlikely to feature. It remains uncertain whether he will be available for United's final friendly against AC Milan under Rúben Amorim next Saturday.

Mount had been standout in United's opening three pre-season matches, playing in the number eight role alongside new signing Andrey Santos.
