José Mourinho has been directly involved in negotiations to renew Vinicius Jr.'s contract with Real Madrid. According to Fabrizio Romano, the coach has personally contacted the Brazilian to pressure for his stay while discussions take place to extend his deal.
The conversations are moving in the right direction. Both the club and the player are maintaining a positive stance about reaching an agreement, and expectations are optimistic on both fronts. Mourinho wants Vini to remain at the Bernabéu and is doing his part to make it happen.
