Natalia Ramos leaves Tenerife after over a decade to join Liverpool

Natalia Ramos has completed her move from Costa Adeje Tenerife to Liverpool, leaving the Canary Islands club after more than a decade to join England's top women's league. The transfer was announced Thursday and remains pending visa approval and international clearance.

Ramos arrived at Tenerife's youth academy at 14 and made her top-flight debut two years later. Over her time in the white and blue, she made 249 official appearances and scored 23 goals. Last season was her standout campaign: 10 goals and 5 assists helped the club chase European places and finish fourth.

"I'm very, very happy. It was an easy decision," Ramos said in Liverpool's statement. "I feel privileged to wear this shirt. I know what kind of club this is, the respect it commands." Tenerife president Sergio Batista praised Ramos for "perfectly representing what it means to grow within this project", recalling her role in key moments like the 2015 promotion and women's football going professional.
