Newcastle seals Dedić deal from Benfica

Newcastle has completed their agreement with Benfica to sign Bosnian fullback Amad Dedić. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is finalised for a €35 million package that includes a sell-on clause.

Dedić had already reached personal terms with the English club days ago. The move comes after the player made clear his desire to leave the Portuguese side to join Newcastle as his priority and work under Jaissle's management.

Despite Benfica's attempts to keep him, the Bosnian midfielder was determined to make the switch to the Premier League, where he will now become the Magpies' new fullback.
