Ngoumou set to join Nice after four seasons in Germany

After four seasons at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Cameroonian winger Nathan Ngoumou is set to return to France. According to L'Équipe, the 26-year-old will complete his medical at OGC Nice on Monday with the deal already wrapped up on a free transfer. Mönchengladbach will receive 10% of any future sale.

Formed at Toulouse, where he made 37 appearances and scored 8 goals during the 2021-2022 season largely in Ligue 2, Ngoumou arrives in the Côte d'Azur as an experienced French football operator. His last campaign in Germany was a blank slate following an Achilles tendon injury in April 2025, from which he appears to have fully recovered.
