Noé Carrillo injured in ankle against Real Madrid

Noé Carrillo, midfielder for Deportivo, had to leave the pitch injured in the friendly between the Deportivo and Real Madrid, according to Mundo Deportivo. The injury occurred in the 18th minute of the first half, when Carrillo twisted his left ankle after a challenge with Real Madrid's left-back Álvaro Carreras.

The academy graduate was one of the surprises in Antonio Hidalgo's starting eleven in this final friendly before Deportivo's league debut against Elche. After receiving medical attention on the sideline at Riazor, Carrillo was unable to continue and withdrew to the dressing room with support from coaching staff members. He was replaced by captain Diego Villares.
