Noé Carrillo out for league debut with ankle sprain

Noé Carrillo underwent medical tests after leaving injured in the first half of Deportivo's friendly against Real Madrid. According to *Sport*, the midfielder suffered an ankle sprain in a challenge with Álvaro Carreras and will miss, at least, the Deportivo side's league debut against Elche this Monday.

The tests ruled out a more serious injury, though the club has not disclosed the exact recovery timeline for the 19-year-old under-21 international. Despite looking serious in the initial footage, it turned out to be just a sprain.

Carrillo is one of four academy players who have trained with the first team this summer. Last season he made six league appearances and two Copa del Rey outings, scoring twice.
