Obolskii joins Sabadell after leaving Córdoba

Nikolai Obolskii has found his new club. The 29-year-old Russian forward has become a Sabadell player after ending his spell with Córdoba CF, according to *Sport*. The striker has signed a contract through June 2028 to bolster the attack of the team returning to the Spanish second tier.

Obolskii arrives after two seasons at Córdoba marked by inconsistent playing time. In his first campaign, he featured in 33 league matches and scored three goals, showing his physical strength and defensive commitment. However, his situation deteriorated last season: he saw limited action in the lineup and finished with just eleven substitute appearances and just over one hundred minutes played, failing to score.

With solid experience in Spanish football after stints at Barakaldo, Cultural Leonesa, and Ibiza—teams where he accumulated 32 goals in 136 matches in the third tier—Obolskii arrives at Nova Creu Alta seeking to regain the continuity he lacked at Córdoba. His physical profile and ability to play with his back to goal expand the options available to manager Ferran Costa.
