Odogu joins Toulouse on loan from Milan without purchase option

The German defender, 20, moves on loan from AC Milan to the French club in a free transfer arrangement between RedBird-owned teams.

David Odogu is leaving AC Milan temporarily to join Toulouse FC on loan without a purchase option. According to L'Équipe, the deal involves two clubs under the same ownership: RedBird, which acquired Milan in August 2022 and already controls the French outfit.

The young German defender, just 20 years old, has struggled for playing time at the Rossoneri. Last season in Serie A, he made only two appearances with Milan's first team after developing in the Bundesliga with Union Berlin and Wolfsburg.

Building through youth

Toulouse continues strengthening its project with young talents. Odogu joins recent signings Sion Oppong (18), Christ Tapé (20) and Ismaïl Diallo (22), cementing a clear strategy of youth investment for the upcoming campaign.
