Official: Yan Diomande joins Real Madrid

It's official: Yan Diomande is now a Real Madrid player. The 19-year-old Ivorian winger has signed a contract running until June 30, 2033 and will join José Mourinho's squad for the 2026/27 season, as confirmed by Mundo Deportivo.

The Madrid club will pay €125 million for the RB Leipzig youngster, a figure that could reach €140 million with conditional bonuses. This deal brings Madrid's summer spending to €315 million after signings of Cucurella (€55M), Dumfries (€20M), and Mourinho (€15M).

Diomande arrives off the back of an impressive Bundesliga campaign: 36 appearances, 13 goals, and 9 assists. The right-footed winger, capable of playing on both flanks, will officially complete his transfer after passing medical tests. Mourinho will have him available for Saturday's second preseason fixture against Ferencváros in Budapest.
