Olaizola joins Eldense on loan from Mallorca

Mallorca's centre-back Javier Olaizola heads to Segunda División side Eldense on loan without a purchase option.

Real Mallorca has loaned out left-footed centre-back Javier Olaizola, 19, to CD Eldense. According to Mundo Deportivo, the move has been made official through a press release from the Balearic club.

Olaizola is the son of former Mallorca defender and captain Javier Olaizola Rodríguez. Last season in La Liga he made 139 minutes of appearances, reflecting Mallorca's faith in their academy prospect.

The club from Son Bibiloni wants their young centre-back to continue his development by playing regularly in Segunda División. The loan to the newly promoted Alicante side contains no purchase option, suggesting Olaizola will spend just one season at Eldense.
