The Navarre side completes its second signing of the day with the purchase of Ghanaian centre-back from IFK Göteborg.
Osasuna have announced the signing of Rockson Yeboah, Ghanaian centre-back from IFK Göteborg, in a deal worth 3 million euros, according to MARCA. The move comes as a surprise after avoiding transfer rumours and closes a busy day in Pamplona, which also confirmed the arrival of Diego Rico.
Yeboah, 22 and standing 1.90 metres tall, has signed a five-year contract with the Navarre club. The agreement includes a 30 million euro release clause and the Swedish side retain a 30% sell-on clause on any future sale. Last season, the defender made 20 appearances in the Swedish league and cup, plus three matches in Conference League qualifying.
The centre-back will arrive in Pamplona in the coming hours to join Luis Miguel Ramis's squad. This fulfils sporting director Braulio Vázquez's forecast of three or four additional signings to strengthen the defence.
