Iker Benito is leaving Osasuna to begin a new chapter at Mexican club Querétaro. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Navarre outfit has agreed a transfer of 50% of the player's rights for $600,000.
The winger, born on August 10, 2002 in Miranda de Ebro, joined Osasuna's academy in 2018 and made his senior debut in the 2021/2022 season. He made 19 appearances for the red-and-white shirt and scored two goals.
Options and rights
The Mexican club will have the option to acquire an additional 30% of the rights until August 31, 2027. Osasuna has also retained a right of first refusal in case Benito is transferred to another club in the future, allowing them to intervene in any subsequent moves for the player.
The Navarre club thanked the winger for his "professionalism and conduct" during his time at the entity and wishes him luck in his new project.
