Osimhen offered to Atlético Madrid

Victor Osimhen has been offered to Atlético Madrid through intermediaries, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. The 27-year-old Nigerian forward, currently at Galatasaray, would cost €75 million, though the player would be willing to take a pay cut to join the Madrid club.

The Metropolitano side has rejected the option. The club lacks the financial liquidity to complete the deal, and already has Julián Álvarez established in that attacking role with no plans to sell him. Osimhen had previously expressed admiration for Simeone back in January after facing off in the Champions League: «I like him, I've always been a fan of his coach. They play aggressively and have an identity,» he said at the time.

The striker has also been offered to Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham. The London club even made an offer exceeding €55 million, a figure still well short of Galatasaray's demands.
