📷 MARCAPablo Ramón returns to Racing on permanent deal
The Balearic defender joins permanently after his loan spell, signing until 2029.
Pablo Ramón is back at Racing for good. The centre-back, who spent last season on loan at the Cantabrian club where he helped secure promotion to the second tier, has completed his permanent move from Espanyol, as reported by MARCA. The player has signed a contract through June 2029.
Ramón (Calviá, 2001) had fallen out of favour at Espanyol under Manolo González, giving Racing the chance to seal the deal within just 24 hours. The defender joins Pedro Felipe as recent defensive signings for the green-and-whites, alongside existing options Facu González and Manu Hernando in the backline.
At 1.84m tall and developed through Mallorca and Real Madrid's youth academies, Ramón made 27 appearances in the second division with Racing last season, proving instrumental in their return to the Silver category. He holds Spain caps at under-18 and under-19 level.
