Palhinha stays: Bayern and Aston Villa fail to reach agreement

Joao Palhinha will stay at Bayern Munich. According to kicker, negotiations between the Bavarian club and Aston Villa for the Portuguese midfielder's transfer have broken down.

Despite Palhinha expressing his desire to move to England and join the Europa League winners, both clubs failed to agree on financial terms. The midfielder will therefore continue at Bayern, at least for now.
