The 19-year-old Ivorian winger signs a seven-year contract in a record-breaking transfer for his age.
Yan Diomande is now officially a Real Madrid player. The 19-year-old winger joins from RB Leipzig for a fee worth up to 140 million euros (£120m), according to BBC Sport. The deal potentially makes him the most expensive teenager ever signed.
Diomande has penned a seven-year contract and becomes Real Madrid's sixth summer signing under José Mourinho. The transfer came after PSG withdrew from the race following their £102.5m bid rejection, while Liverpool had also pursued the Ivorian international in June. The young talent expressed his delight: "It's a childhood dream come true," he said, also thanking Leipzig: "Maybe we'll meet again one day in the Champions League."
The Ivory Coast international enjoyed a stellar season at Leipzig, earning Bundesliga Young Player of the Season honours with 12 goals and 8 assists.
