Risser returns to Lens training ahead of schedule

Robin Risser returns to training with Lens this Saturday under coach Dino Toppmöller, two days sooner than originally planned. According to L'Équipe, the French goalkeeper decided in agreement with the club's management to speed up his comeback and be ready for the Trophée des Champions next Sunday at 20:45 against Paris Saint-Germain.

Risser, who was France's third-choice goalkeeper at the World Cup in the United States just over a week ago, was initially scheduled to rejoin training on Monday. Instead, he opted to gain extra preparation time and work these two additional days to arrive in top condition for the season's first major domestic trophy.
