Rodrigo Mora arrives in Rome to complete his move

The 19-year-old Portuguese talent lands in the Italian capital to finalize his transfer to Roma from Porto.

Rodrigo Mora has landed in Rome to seal his move to 'La Loba'. The 19-year-old Portuguese midfielder touched down at the capital's airport around 6 PM, where he was greeted by hundreds of supporters. Upon arriving, the playmaker addressed the crowd with an emotional "Forza Roma".

The youngster comes from Porto, the club he joined at just nine years old and where he progressed through all youth categories before breaking into the first team. Last season he made 28 appearances for the Portuguese side.

Deal structure

According to Fabrizio Romano, the operation is structured around 25 million euros as a fixed transfer fee, plus a clause tied to a future resale and another purchase option allowing Roma to secure 100% ownership of the player for an additional 25 million euros, as Mundo Deportivo reports.

Now he must pass his medical tests with his new club and sign his contract. The official announcement should arrive in the coming hours, completing the arrival of one of Portuguese football's brightest young talents to Serie A.
