The 34-year-old Argentine goalkeeper makes his comeback to the Citizens from Marseille on a deal until 2028.
Manchester City have officially announced the signing of Argentine goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli, 34, from Olympique de Marseille. The shot-stopper has signed a two-year contract binding him to the Citizens until summer 2028, as confirmed by Mundo Deportivo.
This marks Rulli's second spell at the Etihad, though during his previous stint in the 2016-17 season he never made a first-team appearance. The Argentine expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity: "It's an incredible opportunity for me and I had to take it. Everyone knows how impressive this club is. The club's success over time has been remarkable".
From the sporting direction, Hugo Viana also expressed his satisfaction. "It's a pleasure to welcome Gerónimo back. The experience he brings is clear: he has played at the highest level for many years. We are signing a brilliant professional and a world-class goalkeeper".
