📷 MARCASato cleared to debut against Celta
Valencia solves the paperwork issues for the Japanese winger, who will be available for his league debut on Saturday.
Good news for Valencia. The club has received approval from La Liga to field Ryunosuke Sato in its league debut against Celta on Saturday at Mestalla, according to Radio MARCA Valencia. The bureaucratic problems that had held up his official registration have been resolved: Valencia now has all the necessary documentation and, if the coach sees fit, the Japanese winger will be able to play.
The 19-year-old nippon has been one of the standout players in Valencia's summer preseason. The youngster, the only signing with a transfer fee in the summer market (around four million euros), has scored a couple of goals in friendlies and has been a regular starter on the right wing and in the playmaking role under Corberán.
Debut with potential
All signs point to Sato being part of Valencia's starting eleven in its league opener: Dimitrievski in goal; a three-man defense with Tárrega, De Has and Pepelu; Gayà and academy product Gamón as wing-backs; Javi Guerra and Guido in the double pivot, and up front an attacking trio of Duro, Sato and Danjuma.
