Tottenham's English defender is close to joining Inter Milan, who seek a replacement for Dumfries.
Djed Spence is on his way out of Tottenham to join Inter Milan. According to The Guardian, the Nerazzurri are in negotiations with Spurs for the English full-back, valued at around €30m (£25.6m).
Spence, who started four games for England at the Qatar World Cup—including the semifinal against Argentina—has fallen down the pecking order at the north London club following the arrival of Andy Robertson from Liverpool. At 26, the defender is keen to join the Serie A champions, where Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro are set to be Roberto De Zerbi's preferred full-backs.
Inter are hunting a replacement after Denzel Dumfries joined Real Madrid. Although no fee has been agreed yet, talks are progressing smoothly over personal terms. The deal is likely to land around £20m, little more than what Tottenham paid Middlesbrough for Spence in 2022.
