Strasbourg pushes to sign Baldé and negotiates for Mitchell

Strasbourg is moving fast in the transfer market ahead of their league debut against Marseille. According to *L'Équipe*, winger Fabio Baldé is on the verge of joining the Alsatians. The German-Portuguese 21-year-old from Hamburg, capable of playing on either wing, is set to arrive for around €7 million excluding bonuses. Last season he made 16 Bundesliga appearances.

Meanwhile, Strasbourg is also pursuing Costa Rican defender Jeyland Mitchell, a 21-year-old international at Sturm Graz. Negotiations are underway, though a deal depends on the two clubs reaching financial agreement. Mitchell is reportedly willing to join Strasbourg.

These moves are made possible by the sale of Julio Enciso and Abdoul Ouattara to Ipswich for a package worth €60 million, easing the Alsatian club's financial fair play issues. Strasbourg must also manage the departures of Guéla Doué and Ismaël Doukouré.
