Tohumcu heads to Salzburg on loan to continue development
Hoffenheim sends midfielder Umut Tohumcu to Red Bull Salzburg on loan to take the next step in his career.
Umut Tohumcu is set for another spell away from home. After his loan at Holstein Kiel in the 2. Bundesliga last season, TSG Hoffenheim has arranged for the midfielder to continue his development at Red Bull Salzburg, according to kicker.
The move will come on a loan basis, with the Austrian club not securing any purchase options at this stage. For Tohumcu, a Hoffenheim academy product, this represents another chance to prove himself at the highest level following his previous experiences in German football.
