The Spanish winger gets permission to finalize his move to Paris, with the deal worth over £40m.
Ferran Torres has been given permission to miss Barcelona training to finalize his move to PSG, as reported by BBC Sport. The verbal agreement between the clubs was already in place, and now only the final administrative details remain.
The deal is expected to be worth more than £40 million. At 26 years old, Torres joins the Parisian club with just one year remaining on his Barcelona contract, which expedited negotiations. The winger, who scored the extra-time winner against Argentina in Spain's World Cup final triumph this summer, will reunite with Luis Enrique, his former Barcelona boss.
Torres arrives at a PSG side that has won the Champions League in the past two seasons and may lose forward Bradley Barcola to Liverpool. The Spanish international has made 207 appearances for Barcelona since joining from Manchester City in 2022, recording 25 goals in 65 caps for Spain.
