The London club opens negotiations with Monaco for the American striker, with a baseline offer of €60 million.
Tottenham has launched its offensive for Folarin Balogun. According to L'Équipe, the London club has laid the groundwork for a conversation with Monaco to secure the American striker, with a transfer valued at €60 million.
At 25 years old and under contract until 2028, Balogun becomes a top target after an outstanding season in the Principality: 19 goals in 45 matches across all competitions. His representative is Jorge Mendes, which facilitates negotiations.
He wasn't the only club watching: Newcastle and Spanish sides were also monitoring the American for weeks. Now Tottenham has made its move and hopes to close a deal that could reshape Monaco's plans, particularly regarding Lamine Camara, whose departure would become less pressing if Balogun's exit is confirmed.
