Toulouse seals Danish midfielder Jörgensen's arrival for €10m

Toulouse has completed the transfer of Danish midfielder Thomas Jörgensen, 20 years old, from Viborg. According to L'Équipe, the deal reaches approximately €10 million in total value (€7.5 million upfront plus €1.5 in add-ons and a percentage of future sales), marking the club's biggest spending under the RedBird era.

The promising young Danish talent, capped by his national team at senior level (called up in June without playing), has spent two seasons in Danish football after joining FC Copenhagen at Viborg in 2024. Last season was his most productive: 5 goals and 9 assists across all competitions. The move also marks a historic milestone for Viborg, achieving their record sale with this transfer.

Reinforcement for the Danish contingent

Jörgensen will report to the club on Monday to join a strengthening Danish presence at the outfit: new manager Jens Berthel Askou and captain Rasmus Nicolaisen. The midfielder's arrival rewards TFC's patience after working on the deal for several weeks.
