Tzolis shines at Arsenal: already crucial after three weeks
The Greek winger is in fine form and will be key against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
Christos Tzolis has already become one of Arsenal's standout names after just three weeks in England. According to L'Équipe, the 24-year-old Greek winger has been decisive in his last 19 matches with the club, a streak that began in his final appearances with Bruges and continues unbroken in English football.
During his first month as a Gunner, the winger has scored two goals and provided three assists, plus earned a penalty. His latest goal came in the victory against Como, meaning he has made an offensive contribution in virtually every outing. "Tzolis has shown he can bring a lot to Arsenal," L'Équipe notes.
Off to a flying start in the Community Shield
The Greek will be one of the players to watch on Sunday in the clash against Manchester City for the Community Shield (16:00). The pre-season friendly will measure Arsenal's level ahead of the Premier League kick-off, and Tzolis will look to maintain his form and prove he is a key piece in Mikel Arteta's project.
