Bournemouth is looking to sell Enes Ünal and the Turkish striker would welcome a move back to the Coliseum, though his wages pose a challenge.
Enes Ünal could make a return to LaLiga and specifically to Getafe, according to Matteo Moretto via MARCA. Bournemouth, who own the player, are seeking a permanent exit after strengthening their attack with Álvaro Rodríguez and having Junior Kroupi available, and for now rule out a loan deal.
The Turkish striker prioritizes a return to the Coliseum, but his high salary represents a significant obstacle to completing the transfer. At 29 years old, Ünal is looking to revive his career following a modest spell in the Premier League, where he suffered a cruciate ligament injury that had also affected him during his previous time at Getafe.
During his spell as an azulón, he accumulated 109 matches and 36 goals. He was particularly productive in the 2022-23 season, when he scored 14 goals and ranked as the seventh top scorer in Primera. That cruciate ligament injury also previously blocked a move to Benfica that would have been worth €25 million.
