The 20-year-old Hungarian goalkeeper wants to leave Barça to get playing time in La Liga.
Áron Yaakobishvili remains determined to leave FC Barcelona this summer. The 20-year-old Hungarian international goalkeeper does not want to stay as third-choice keeper under Hansi Flick, with limited prospects of competing against Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szczesny, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The arrival in Barcelona of Pini Zahavi, his agent, has reactivated the club's plans for his departure. Barcelona would be open to another loan or even a transfer with a buyback option for the goalkeeper, who recently renewed until 2028.
Yaakobishvili returned from his loan at Andorra, where he was a regular starter for much of the season, and has had a solid pre-season. He saved two penalties in the friendly against Birmingham, where Barça lost on penalties (2-2, 3-2 p.). However, several doors at La Liga and Segunda División clubs have recently closed for him as other goalkeeper signings have been finalized.
